We were informed by our agent for the event the Red Neck Nationals that was scheduled to be in Woodward, Sunday, September 12 has been canceled.

We were disappointed and shocked to get this information this morning and most of all we are disappointed for you the racer that was ready to mud race and the guys that built cars for the demo derby.

There is not more information other than this. We regret what has happened but it is out of our control.

We shall not return to Woodward this year so there will be no rescheduling this event.

Again our apologies,

Monster Trucks in Garden City!

Finney County Fairgrounds in Garden City hosts the Monster Truck Nationals.
Budweiser Monster Truck Nationals presented by Burtis Motors in Garden City September 3rd and 4th 7:30pm each night.

Garden City is kinda like a home track for us at CFP.

We have our office in Dodge City and also in Texas but we began this whole thing (CFP) in Scott City, Kansas which is just 35 miles north of Garden City. We have a huge crowd their in Garden City everytime and the drivers go the extra for the fans.

This year the line-up of stars is awesome. Larry Swim the CFP NATIONAL CHAMPION (2009-2010) will be leading the charge in the legendary big blue truck BIGFOOT. Larry has been driving for Team Bigfoot for a couple of years and in the last two he has strecthed Bigfoot’s winnings and his freestyle is awesome! BAD BOY BIGFOOT is realitively the same as the other BIGFOOT’s traveling around but this one seems to have an attitude. Maybe it is Larry and his on the edge style driving but one thing about it Bob Trent the VP of BIGFOOT has himself a driver in his stable.

The other trucks on the list are all gunning for BIGFOOT. To beat the man you gotta first be the man and here is a list of those that want to step it up and whisk the glory away from Swim in BAD BOY.

BARBARIAN:
This truck is probably one of the tuffest around. Devin Jones from Oklahoma has beat this thing to death but it just keeps on keeping on. Jones is not afraid. He has those cold gunfighter eyes when he sits behind the wheel and while kind of a quiet guy he is everything but that!

RAZIN KANE
Chris Laguna is from Florida. His business partner J.R. has a few words to tell him before each run and it basically is something like GO FOR IT! That is what they do. Whether it is racing on Freestyle this big Chevy motor is on the rev limiter!

WAR EAGLE
Mike Barnes is probably one of the nicest guys you would ever meet on or off the track. His first experience with monsters was a great looking ride truck. Mike always wanted a race truck and after about 3 years with a ride truck and working night and day he finally had the finances to do what he wanted. His family and friends are all behind him and he has many fans across the US. Watch him stand that thing on the tailgate every run and you wil be one also.

AMSOIL SHOCK THERAPY
John Zimmer or Carl Horn have been driving this truck and they are both legendary already in their young carriers. Zimmer is from the East Coast and he is looking forward to coming back to Kansas where a win he thinks he is owed. Brandon LeGarde from New Orleans owns the trucks and by far this is one of the biggest and best independant race teams on the circuit.

EXCALIBUR
This is a legendary name in the monster truck world. Legends are made out of legendary performance and EXCALIBUR has for nearly 20 years been at the top of the monster truck lists of all time greats. This Chevorolet powered EXCALIBUR has a newstyle chassis with all the right stuff and who knows it might be time to see this truck seize a win over a long time bitter rival BIGFOOT.

Part of the night will be the Tuff Truck Races and this year we are going to throw a little mud bog in the middle of the track to make it even more interesting. The tuff trucks in Garden City and Western Kansas are entertaining to say the least. Wait til you see these old farm trucks get some big air!

ATV 4 wheeler Quad Racs are both nights also and this give another chance for local drivers and riders to be part of the show.

Free entry fee on Saturday if you run on Friday night for both the Tuff Trucks and the Atv’s this year.

Tickets are available at a discount prices at BURTIS MOTORS in Garden City and also at HASTINGS. Ticktes also available in Dodge City at the NAPA AUTO PARTS
To find out more about the Tuff Trucks or the Quad Races give us a call at the DCRP office 620-225-3277 and we can hook you up!
One thing for sure this is the place to spend a Labor Day Weekend in Kansas!

Enid Speedway is ALIVE!

The crowds just keep getting larger.

The Red Neck Nationals was Epic to say the least.

Over 3,000 spectators watched an event that was more like a motorsports buffet.
Hot Rod Tractor and Truck pulling started out the night with fire breathing nitro burning high horsepower against the 50 thousand pound sled. That was on the horse track between the race track and the huge grandstand.

Next the Sport Mods, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks, and the Enid Bombers took to the race track. The Bombers lined up for their 25 Lap Main Event and this is a motely crew for sure. Some of the cars were driven on the street hours before but a roll cage and racing seat and some safety belts and they have a race car. The rules we came up with state the cars with passengers start up front. There is a limit to that amount and one station wagon has a full NASCAR looking cage in a Station Wagon with 4 guys riding in it!!! They are having too much fun in Enid!

After the races we went back to horse track and reprepped it into a side by side mud drag racing. Mud flying 40 feet in the air when the nitro burning rails showed the crowd what is was like to have over a 1000 horsepower and some super scoopers and a perfect track doing the drag strip under 3 seconds! It was incredible to say the least. From the old mudder truck to those fast ones the crowd loved the Mud!

Then to finish it all off 3 of our Bad Boys of Racing Monster Truck Series regulars showed up to blast some old cars and do some huge jumps and enormous wheelies. Enid was going wild when Razn Kane driver Chris Longuna lined up in the mud drag pit and let it rip! All 4 wheels were spraying mud and then his donuts down the straight on the race track were incredible.

What a show to a huge record breaking attendance. Enid Speedway is back, and it is alive, and doing well. We want to thank our crew and our fans on Enid Speedway face book they have helped bring this track out of demise to the top race track in Oklahoma. Get R Done Enid – You are a great bunch!

Beaver County Fair Sept. 9

Racing will return to Beaver, Oklahoma high banked dirt track.

The Fairboard has contacted us and together we have came up with a plan to produce racing on opening night at the Beaver County Fair Thursday Septmeber 9th at 7:30pm.

Classes to be ran that night are Thunder/Hobbies – Factory Stocks/ IMCA Stocks – and IMCA type MODIFIEDS. There will be also an open track for Super Stocks and from what we understand there are 5 or 6 of them that have committed to come to be part of the show.

This will give some of the racers that come here to DCRP a hometown or home-area race and we are glad we can help you with that.

We will not be sanctioning any these events thru IMCA so no one would have to purchase a license. This is a one-time deal for the Fair and we hope everyone that can make it down there does.

Beaver has a great little race track that is good to watch racing on and seems to be fun to drive on. We will be helping them with track prep and we are going to work hard to give you the best surface possible and no dust.

The Fairboard has committed to bringing a $4,000 purse for these classes as the minimum but more sponsors are being sought. They should be commended for their efforts to bring racing back to Beaver and to have it open the 2010 Beaver County Free Fair.

This Saturday night (August 28th) in Dodge we shall be handing out fliers about the event and hope you can race in Beaver at the Fair.

Schedule for Thursday September 9th, 2010 Beaver County Fair Auto Races
Pits Open ………………………………………………………………4:30pm
Hot Laps & Grand Stands Open …………………………………….6:00pm
Races start …………………………………………………………..7:30pm

Wow what an event! ONE NIGH ONLY! Saturday August 28th 7:30pm at the Enid Speedway!

Enid, Oklahoma and Northern Oklahoma get ready for the wildest night in a long time. Saturday night August 28th the Hot Rod Truck N Tractor Pulling Championships and the Mud Drag Racing Nationals are coming to the Fairgrounds for one incredidble jam packed night. Racing that night will be a little on the extreme side but no one is going to be prepared for the on slaught of horsepower.

Over 500 cubic inches of ground pounding horsepower with blown and injected methanol burning big motors and they are in Hot Rod Mud Racers with super scooper tires that will sling mud over 50 feet in the air as the driver fights to control this wheelstanding mud racing rocket! Side by Side Drag Racing is gonna blow the crowd away in Enid! First time ever to see this and you can sit in the grandstand and feel it shake!

We got some of the baddest of the bad coming to race and they mean business. Starting at a dead stop watching for the green light to flash they light up those huge motors and as they search for grip in about 12 inches of muddy soil they still will reach the finish line at over 90 mph! Hold on tight this could be wild!

Hot Rod Tractor Pulling has been around forever but it has taken on a huge new look as younger drivers are the pilots and their bravery shows thru. Wheels up fire shooting out the exhaust and the crowd screaming as loud as the engine as the driver makes his pass dragging a heavy 50 thousand pound weight transfer machine affentionally known as the “sled.” This sled is the equalizer to check out their horsepower and every driver is looking for a full pull! At Enid there will be a huge 300 foot track so the grandstand will have plenty see with drag racing Truck and Tractor pulling.

Tickets will go on sale soon – stay tuned this is gonna get wild!!!
